While at Rifle Paper Co., I worked as a Product Designer and Pre-Press Graphic Designer. This meant I was primarily creating the actual product CADs, layouts, construction, etc. with existing illustrations and patterns. Occasionally I would also provide illustration and typography assistance to fill in any gaps on product. This meant I had to be able to recreate styles both digitally and traditionally with gouache.
I worked on a wide variety of products - ceramics, melamine, paper, books, accessories, tabletop, home decor, and even designing end caps for displays in Target. A few of the items I worked on are below!
Designed a line of razors specifically for Christmas, only sold in Target!
Worked on a books/cats/dogs crossovers. Coming up with “scratch pad” and “things to fetch” still might be one of my best tagline moments (and that’s coming from a former card designer).
I worked on a lot of holiday product while I was at Rifle, but also a lot of random products within full lines. Here are a few more that I really loved!
